All visitors to Intracoastal Internal Medicine must wear a face mask to enter our building.

Flu vaccines are in and available to established patients on a walk-in basis.

Updated January 06th, 2021
Under the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS) direction, the COVID vaccination is being allotted to local hospitals and health departments for administration. Also, CVS and Walgreens may be offering the vaccination in the future. Phase 1a is close to completion, and the next step will be Phase 1b. We ask that you go to the website for your local health department for any questions and updates or visit https://covid19.ncdhhs.gov/findyourspot.

We support widespread vaccination for COVID 19 for any patient who qualifies and does not have a contraindication. Please remember that our office is very busy taking care of patients with COVID in addition to our routine responsibilities. If you have questions that cannot be answered by either your local health department or NC DHHS, we would ask that you schedule an appointment to discuss and not call or send us a portal message.

Help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus; know your W’s!

Wear a face mask.

Wait 6 feet apart. Avoid close contact.

Wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer.

If you are sick, we ask that you call or send a message through the patient portal. A member of our clinical staff will schedule you appropriately and instruct you on our sick appointment protocol.

Intracoastal Internal Medicine has added TeleHealth as an extension of our healthcare services. With patient consent, we can offer TeleVisits and eVisits through Healow. TeleVisits enable providers to see patients via their smartphone camera or from their computer camera without requiring an in-person office visit, and eVisits allow patients to email with their provider through the patient portal securely.
